You need to adjust and change the store owner details. You can change the Account Owner (AO) by taking the following steps:
- Log in as the Account Owner. Only the current account owner can make this change.
- Settings > Accounts
- Scroll down to Admin Access and click Make staff member the Account Owner.
- Enter the password for the store and click Transfer account ownership which will complete the process.
Something to note is that the new account owner is the only account which will be able to make the change again.
That’s it. You have successfully transferred ownership of your store to the buyer. They should be able to log in using their previous staff account details.
